About Richard J. Solie, Jr.
Richard J. "Rick" Solie, Jr. brings over three decades of expertise in government affairs and natural resource development across Alaska. As a consultant specializing in investor and community relations, he leverages his extensive background in mining, oil and gas, healthcare, and government sectors.
As a 50+ year resident of Fairbanks, Rick's public experience includes time at the local and state level, where he helped shape governance and community development. His corporate experience spans roles in stakeholder relations, government affairs, and strategic communications for major natural resource companies in Alaska. Rick currently serves on the board of a local energy cooperative.
Rick and his wife, Cherie, have three children and three grandchildren. When not advocating for Alaska's development, he enjoys exploring the state's natural beauty through hiking, biking, boating, and skiing.
